Polish tech giant STX Next buys Brainhub for AI and software development
POZNAN, POLAND — STX Next, an artificial intelligence and data solutions provider has announced a merger with Brainhub, a Polish software developer known for its expertise in JS, .NET, and AWS.
While specific terms of the deal were not disclosed, it is effective from December 2024 and aims to enhance their capabilities in AI-powered solutions and consolidate their global market position.
Strategic integration
The merger is poised to revolutionize the IT solutions industry by combining STX Next’s strengths in software solutions engineering, artificial intelligence, and data engineering with Brainhub’s robust web and mobile application development expertise.
Leszek Knoll, CEO and co-founder of Brainhub, joins STX Next’s Management Team to provide strategic guidance and drive growth. Matt Warcholinski, co-founder of Brainhub, will oversee the integration of sales and marketing operations while continuing to engage with key Brainhub customers.

The collaboration is expected to tackle significant technological challenges, particularly in AI, enhancing both companies’ service offerings and client engagement.

From the perspective of Innova Capital, STX Next’s investor, this acquisition will bolster STX’s standing in AI and software development. Piotr Świerczek, Director at Innova Capital, emphasized the merger’s potential to expand service offerings, sales channels, and client portfolios, enriching the group’s global stance.
STX Next, with nearly two decades of experience, and Brainhub, with its technical expertise, will collectively employ over 600 individuals worldwide. They are committed to delivering scalable, business-oriented software solutions.
