TCS enters agentic AI commerce market with Rezolve partnership

MAHARASHTRA, INDIA — Tata Consultancy Services announced a global strategic partnership with Rezolve Ai on May 12, marking the Indian IT services firm’s formal entry into the agentic AI commerce market and establishing a dedicated go-to-market channel for Rezolve Ai’s proprietary brainpowa platform across global retail enterprises.
According to a company press release, under the agreement, TCS will implement Rezolve Ai’s agentic commerce tools — spanning conversational commerce, intelligent product discovery, and agentic checkout — directly into clients’ core commerce workflows. No financial terms for the partnership were disclosed.
Partnership targets agentic commerce at enterprise scale
TCS brings a global delivery network, deep enterprise relationships across major retail accounts, and a network of Pace Port innovation centers to the collaboration, serving as the primary implementation and go-to-market channel for Rezolve Ai’s platform.
The partnership addresses a persistent gap in the retail technology market: the difficulty of moving AI commerce solutions from controlled pilots to production-grade enterprise deployment.
“Our partnership with Rezolve Ai combines TCS’ global transformation capabilities with a specialized AI-powered commerce platform built for real-world enterprise deployment,” said Shekar Krishnan, head of retail for the United Kingdom and Europe at TCS.
The deal marks TCS’ formal repositioning toward agentic AI — systems capable of autonomous, multi-step task execution — as a commercial differentiator in enterprise retail transformation.
Combined offering targets retail commerce modernization
Rezolve Ai’s brainpowa platform delivers agentic capabilities across three retail workflows: conversational commerce for natural-language shopping interactions, intelligent discovery for personalized product search, and agentic checkout for automated purchase completion.
Retailers can evaluate the combined solution across TCS’ Pace Port centers before committing to full enterprise deployment, reducing the cost and risk of production-grade AI adoption.
“TCS brings extraordinary reach, deep enterprise trust, and global execution capability. Together, we are creating a clear pathway to take agentic commerce from platform innovation to enterprise-scale deployment,” said Daniel M. Wagner, chief executive officer of Rezolve Ai.
The brainpowa platform differentiates from conventional commerce AI by enabling autonomous, multi-step agentic workflows within a retailer’s existing infrastructure — not just product recommendations or chatbots.
The partnership reflects a broader pattern of major IT services firms forging preferred technology alliances as agentic AI reshapes the enterprise software stack.
Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro have each announced comparable AI and automation partnerships in recent quarters, competing to position themselves as the primary implementation layer for next-generation retail platforms.
As Salesforce’s Agentforce, Shopify’s AI tools, and a growing field of AI-native startups compete for agentic commerce infrastructure dominance, IT services firms with global enterprise access are emerging as the critical distribution channel determining which platforms achieve scale.
