TCS launches massive business continuity program
TCS, one of the major global IT and outsourcing companies, has launched a massive program to ensure continuity amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. This was revealed by the company’s CEO and managing director, Rajesh Gopinathan.
He said TCS is using its Secure Borderless Works Spaces infrastructure, which allows employees to work from home, both onshore and offshore. This way, business continuity is ensured with support from a minimal number of associates working from offices.
Gopinathan also emphasized that the safety and well-being of employees is a priority of the company. Early on, the company took proactive measures like travel restrictions, cancellation of events and large internal meetings, and safe working environments and processes that helped minimize the impact.
