TCS to modernize IT for McDonald’s 760+ restaurants in the Philippines

MANILA, PHILIPPINES and MUMBAI, INDIA — Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) signed a two-year partnership with Golden Arches Development Corporation, the master franchise holder of McDonald’s in the Philippines, to modernize the IT landscape for more than 760 McDonald’s restaurants in the country.
This marks TCS’s first engagement with McDonald’s in the Asia-Pacific region, signaling a significant expansion of its presence in the fast-food industry. The partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience through innovative technology solutions.
Cloud migration and SAP S/4HANA implementation
As part of the agreement, TCS will transform GADC’s existing systems by migrating them to the cloud and deploying SAP S/4HANA on RISE. This standardization and digitization of operations will provide better insights, improve decision-making, and optimize performance across the fast-food chain.

TCS will also future-proof GADC’s processes to support its growth agenda. The company will offer SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for development and integration services, encompassing app development, automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.

Strengthening TCS’ presence in the Philippines
This partnership underscores TCS’ growing presence in the Philippines, where the company has been operational since 2008. With over 5,000 employees in the country, TCS provides IT services across sectors such as telecommunications, banking, and real estate.
