TCS partners with Scotland’s IS for digital transformation

Multinational IT services and consulting company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is partnering with Scotland’s local government Improvement Service (IS) to speed up the country’s digital transformation.
TCS is utilizing its DigiGOV framework to make digital services faster to configure, easier to use, and more accessible.
Additionally, the collaboration has enabled TCS to design and develop the website GETYOURNEC.SCOT which is used by local councils during the pandemic.
The outsourcing giant stated that 24 of the 32 local councils across Scotland have now adopted the portal with the remaining 8 set to follow.
IS Digital Public Services Head Martin Brown said that working with TCS helped drive “the digitization of Scotland’s public services through intuitive online platforms, so those citizens willing and able to use technology can access the support they need.”
TCS Scotland Head Gopalan Rajagopalan stated that “DigiGOV has enabled us to develop innovative proofs-of-concept and deliver integrated online services in very short timeframes that directly benefit the Scottish people.”
