TCS to set up cybersecurity center in Mexico

Multinational IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has begun building its new cybersecurity center in the city of Querétaro in Mexico.
This new development is the Threat Management Center of TCS in Latin America and will be used to continue serving its clients across the region.
Moreover, the India-based company said that they are planning to recruit 500 engineers to the center over the next two years.
Santha Subramoni, TCS Global Director of Cybersecurity, noted that “investing in cybersecurity is the need of the hour as remotely-working employees are using wide-ranging digital devices and data centers.”
According to reports, the demand for cybersecurity across all industries has increased in recent months due to cybercriminals targeting remote employees to steal valuable data.
