Tech Mahindra appoints Arnav Sharma to lead global marketing initiatives

PUNE, INDIA — IT services firm Tech Mahindra has appointed Arnav Sharma as the Head of Global Strategic Marketing Programs (GSMP) and CEO Communications.
In this new role, Sharma will spearhead Tech Mahindra’s global brand partnerships and ensure cohesive messaging that aligns with the company’s corporate objectives and strengthens stakeholder relationships.
Additionally, Sharma’s team will focus on broadening Tech Mahindra’s presence on global platforms, deepening relationships within the marketing fraternity, and driving strategic events and marketing synergies within Tech Mahindra and the Mahindra Group.
Reflecting on remarkable achievements
Sharma expressed pride in the significant strides made by the brand team during his four-year tenure as the Global Head of Brand Marketing. He highlighted the team’s collective efforts in establishing a robust marketing foundation, centralized processes, numerous brand activations, and layered expertise, ensuring Tech Mahindra’s brand narrative remains true to its core values and purpose.
“Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones and made history; securing our highest-ever global brand rank, adding over a billion dollars in brand value, positioning ourselves consistently as one of the fastest-growing brands, and enabling brand synergies with the Mahindra Group,” Sharma said in a LinkedIn post.
Arnav Sharma’s career journey and expertise
Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, Sharma held the position of Global Head of Marketing for Life Sciences and Healthcare Units at another outsourcing firm TCS. He also had a stint at IT services brands Wipro and Dell Services.
With Arnav Sharma’s expanded role, Tech Mahindra aims to strengthen its brand synergies, deepen global outreach, and solidify its position as a leading provider of digital transformation solutions.
Tech Mahindra ranked #10 in the OA500 2024, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. This is an improvement from its 11th-place finish in the OA500 2023.
