Tek Experts enters Indianapolis, to bring 450 jobs

INDIANAPOLIS, UNITED STATES — Outsourcing firm Tek Experts has opened its Indianapolis office, which is expected to employ hundreds of locals in the upcoming years.
Tek Experts plans to generate 450 employment opportunities in Indianapolis by 2027. In response, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. extended an offer of up to US$2 million in tax credits and US$100,000 in training grants to the company. Tek Experts can only claim the incentives after the hiring and training of Indiana residents.
Since January, the company has hired 65 local employees who were previously working remotely. The company uses a hybrid work model, but it intends to staff the Indianapolis office exclusively with locals instead of remote-only workers from other states.
Company spokesman James Bedford said Tek Experts chose Indianapolis as its second U.S. location due to the availability of local tech talent and the city’s proximity to Colorado, where the company’s first office is located.
Since its establishment in 2010, Tek Experts has expanded its operations with a global workforce of over 6,000 employees across Bulgaria, Costa Rica, China, Vietnam, the United States, Nigeria, and Rwanda. Tek Experts’ corporate parent is YNV Group, a holding company based in Cyprus.
Tek Experts specializes in software development, information technology, training, and IT management.
The firm also has “ambitious growth plans” for 2023, despite extensive layoffs in the tech industry over the past year.
