Teleperformance buys Agents Only to scale TP.ai

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Teleperformance (TP) has purchased Agents Only, an AI-enabled crowdsourcing platform that supplies on-demand, certified domain experts, in a move that widens the reach and speed of the company’s TP.ai Data Services unit.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Crowdsourced talent supercharges TP.ai
“Agents Only’s on-demand, crowdsourced workforce instantly plugs into our existing TP.ai Data Services, giving us scalability and the ability to tap into the right domain talent,” said Thomas Mackenbrock, TP Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
“This acquisition will help us to launch projects at accelerated speed, reducing time-to-market for our clients, with high-quality outcomes.”
The platform’s thousands of data annotators, data scientists and subject-matter specialists will feed TP projects in data labeling, annotation and generative-AI support, cutting project launch times from months to hours.
Agents Only co-founder and CEO Michael Cole called the deal “a strong endorsement of the real-world value we offer,” adding that the combined entity will “help clients build their data engines for AI” more quickly and precisely.
Part of €100Mn AI investment drive
The acquisition draws on the €100 million ($118 million) AI partnership fund TP unveiled in February 2025.
Akash Pugalia, chief digital officer for the U.S. market, said the merger will “fuel large neural networks, accelerate reinforcement-learning cycles, and pioneer emerging domains like Physical AI, all while embedding robust governance, bias mitigation and ethical guardrails.”
TP.ai Data Services already provides end-to-end pipelines across text, image, audio, video, geospatial and LiDAR data. Agents Only’s automated compliance checks and real-time quality dashboards add deeper traceability and auditability for sectors from healthcare to autonomous vehicles.
