TP Philippines honored as leading IT-BPM employer in Cebu
CEBU, PHILIPPINES — Digital business services provider Teleperformance Philippines earned a spot among the top ten IT-Business Process Management (IT-BPM) employers in Cebu for the fifth consecutive year.
Recognized by the Cebu IT-BPM Organization (CIB.O), the accolade was granted at the 6th Transformation Summit and Gala Night in Cebu City.
Teleperformance made its mark as a distinguished employer in the country, the first Philippine BPO company to receive a Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification in 2018.
Anticipating its sixth consecutive GPTW certification in 2023, the company relies on the independent Trust Index Survey conducted by the GPTW Institute, with feedback from over 50,000 employees across 23 sites nationwide.
As of Q1 2023, Teleperformance has a strong workforce of 8,000 in Cebu City alone. Since launching its Cebu IT Park and Cebu Insular locations in 2005 and 2011, the company has generated more than 24,000 indirect jobs, spanning roles in cleaning services, security, transport, retail, and food sectors.
