Uniquely Invests $9Mn in Glasgow, creating 100 jobs

GALWAY, IRELAND — Irish customer service firm Uniquely has announced a £7 million ($9.3 million) investment in Glasgow.
The move is part of a broader £20 million (approximately $27 million) expansion in the United Kingdom that will create 300 jobs across Scotland, the West Midlands, and the Northwest.
Major investment to boost UK presence
The news was revealed at the Enterprise Ireland Business Leaders Dinner in Glasgow, attended by Irish Minister Niamh Smyth.
The Glasgow office will employ 100 people within the next 12 months, adding to Uniquely’s growing UK presence. Additional offices are also being opened in Solihull near Birmingham and Manchester.
“Our £7 million investment in Glasgow is the realisation of an important milestone in our journey toward innovation, transformation and growth,” said CEO Gerard Teahon. “It’s also a testament to the exceptional talent and innovative offering we provide.”
Uniquely’s UK expansion is funded entirely from its Irish success, reflecting a debt-free growth model. The company currently employs 280 people and expects to reach 300 staff across its new UK offices by the end of next year.
