US to drop travel ban on vaccinated foreigners in November

The United States will be dropping its travel ban for vaccinated foreign nationals starting in early November.
White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Jeff Zients said that the vaccination requirement is the “best tool” they can use to prevent the spread of the virus as they open their borders.
Travelers entering the country will need to show proof of full vaccination and negative COVID-19 test results before boarding US-bound planes. Enhanced contact tracing and masking will also be required, but there will be no quarantine mandate.
Meanwhile, unvaccinated US travelers will need to get tested within one day before departure and once again after arrival.
Zients added that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will release a list of accepted vaccinations and a contact tracing order for airlines before the new policy goes into effect.
