Vaco launches new digital center in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, UNITED STATES — Global professional services firm Vaco has opened a digital operations center in San Ramon, California, as part of its goal to deliver world-class digital outsourcing services.
Spanning 50,000 square feet, the newly leased facility will serve as a dedicated hub for 1,000 employees focused on content moderation, trust and safety, curation, and digital tagging for social media giants from across the San Francisco Bay Area.
The facility will exclusively serve Vaco’s third-largest social media platform client, providing comprehensive content review and support, including trust and safety, quality assurance, business analysis, and project management.
It will also house Vaco Labs, a software center of excellence leveraging the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning to build tools and apps for Vaco’s global clientele.
Recognizing the psychological toll associated with reviewing sensitive content, Vaco stressed the importance of the new center and its commitment to workforce mental health.
“Content review is a delicate process, and it requires diligence, reliability and accountability – all of which can be difficult to sustain without the right partners in place,” said Atul Bhave, Vaco managing partner and senior vice president of managed services. “We remain vigilant in looking for meaningful ways to support and connect this community of people.”
This is Vaco’s fourth global digital operations center, with more slated to open in the next two years.
