VXI Global Solutions names new President and Chief Commercial Officer

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Customer experience (CX) provider VXI Global Solutions (VXI) has appointed Frank Yao as company President and Chief Commercial Officer.

In his new role, Yao will spearhead Bain Capital’s commercial strategy and execution. He will take charge of the firm’s customer relationship and innovation initiatives, all in service of growth and an improved market position.

“I look forward to deepening customer relationships, unlocking new opportunities for value creation, and driving growth for VXI,” Yao said.

Prior to joining VXI Global, Yao was Managing Director at investment firm Bain Capital for over 15 years. He also had stints in consulting company Oliver Wyman and energy firm Schneider Electric.

Bain Capital acquired VXI from equity firm The Carlyle Group in May 2022. 

VXI provides business process outsourcing services, omnichannel and multilingual support, software development, customer experience innovation, quality assurance, and infrastructure outsourcing. It has 40,000 employees in more than 40 locations in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.

Bain Capital’s business portfolio consists of firms from verticals such as healthcare, consumer/retail, financial and business services, industrials, and technology, media and telecommunications.
