Wipro and Harness partner to accelerate AI-native software delivery
BENGALURU, INDIA, and CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Wipro, an AI-powered technology services and consulting company, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Harness, an AI software delivery platform company, to help global enterprises modernize software development.
The partnership combines Wipro’s agent-native delivery platform, WEGA, with Harness’s platform to address the growing complexity of AI adoption, aiming to reduce deployment risk and automate releases.
Addressing the ‘AI velocity paradox’ through unified platforms
As AI adoption in the organization is rapidly expanding, the pace of code development is significantly outpacing the ability to deliver and run the program with sufficient reliability.
Jyoti Bansal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Harness, termed this the AI Velocity Paradox, observing that the processes that occur after code is written (testing, deployment, and release management) are the largest bottleneck, contributing the least to the acceleration of innovation offered by AI.

The purpose of this integration is to provide a sustained view of performance and operational risk, enabling enterprises to innovate faster without compromising the governance required to scale AI-native environments.
Combining consulting expertise with global scale
The strategic collaboration leverages Wipro’s consulting-led approach and extensive global delivery scale to enhance the technical capabilities of the Harness platform.
WEGA, an agent-native delivery platform within the larger Wipro Intelligence family of AI-driven products, was defined as a platform that will help clients create smarter systems and scale AI with confidence.
According to Srini Pallia, the CEO and Managing Director of Wipro, the company is quickly transforming WEGA to enable clients to achieve value more quickly and, therefore, create a successful blueprint for AI-native software delivery combined with Harness.
The combination allows enterprises to have a cohesive, smart system of managing contemporary software environments.
Combining Harness’s automation and governance tools with Wipro’s global delivery and digital transformation experience, the partnership will help reduce manual labor and improve results across three key domains: speed, stability, and cost efficiency.
The partnership will be better positioned to provide businesses with a stronger platform to accelerate AI-native software delivery, without compromising the pace of innovation at the expense of reliability and operational control.
