Wipro veteran Debecker leads Akkodis

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND — The Adecco Group, a talent and technology solutions provider, has officially announced Jo Debecker as the new president of its Akkodis division, effective April 22.
Debecker also joins the Group’s executive committee. He is succeeding Jan Gupta, who contributed to the formation of Akkodis through the merger of AKKA and Modis, and stepped down after a tenure marked by substantial corporate integration.
Debecker’s proven track record
Debecker has an extensive background in IT and digital transformation sectors, most recently leading Wipro’s FullStride Global business line to a $5 billion in revenue.
His appointment is set to enhance Akkodis’ directions, focusing on the expansion of offshore capabilities and implementing cutting-edge technology practices aimed at fostering profitable growth.

Strategic goals under new leadership
Debecker’s role will involve advancing Akkodis‘ position in the Engineering, Research, and Development (ER&D) Technology Consulting market. His past experiences in global technology services and his achievements at Wipro are expected to steer Akkodis towards greater profitability and innovation, particularly in a time when digital transformation is crucial.
