Wipro expands workspace solutions with new India hub

BENGALURU, INDIA — Wipro‘s Commercial and Institutional Business has inaugurated MyWiproVerse Bengaluru, an experience hub for future-ready workspace solutions.
Deccan Herald reports that the center showcases Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled lighting and ergonomic seating, aiming to foster innovation in work environments.
The company is a global technology services and consulting corporation with an extensive portfolio of consulting, engineering, design, and operations. This end-to-end strategy will help the company meet the most challenging digital transformation demands of clients and create future-oriented, sustainable companies.
Wipro has a huge global presence, with more than 230,000 employees and business associates in more than 65 countries, and is committed to fulfilling its promise to help its customers and society flourish in a dynamic world.
The company ranked #3 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
National hub network rollout
The Bengaluru launch is the fourth such hub in the country, following Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai, with three more planned in Kolkata, Delhi-NCR, and Coimbatore within the fiscal year.
This represents a significant investment, with each center costing over ₹35 lakh (US$39,412) to establish, underscoring the company’s commitment to a hands-on, demonstration-driven sales strategy.
This growth will focus on the combined lighting and seating market, valued at ₹10,000 crore (US$1.1 billion). Wipro plants flags in key industrial and technology centers to own more of this value —and, in this case, it is the highly connected, knowledge-driven workforce of Bengaluru.
The launch is in direct response to the large market potential and the necessity to demonstrate complex, ergonomic, and IoT-sensitive products in the flesh.
Tech-integrated workspace ecosystems
The Bengaluru facility demonstrates how Wipro has evolved to stop selling products separately and to offer complete, technology-based workspaces.
“With MyWiproVerse Bengaluru, we are enabling businesses to reimagine their work environments through smarter technology, thoughtful design, and sustainable practices,” said Anuj Dhir, Senior Vice President and Business Head, Commercial and Institutional Business, Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, to Deccan Herald.
“This is more than a showcase; it’s a collaborative hub where organizations can experience, experiment, and adopt solutions that enhance performance, improve employee well-being, and advance their sustainability goals.”
The facility will feature IoT-based lighting systems and over 100 ergonomic seats that can be used in any environment, including offices and remote work. It is a comprehensive solution for the modern workplace that combines lighting, seating, and smart technology.
Such ecosystems are placed under performance investments, rather than infrastructure. Other innovations the company focuses on include Dark Sky-compliant lighting and solutions that improve workers’ welfare and help organizations meet sustainability goals.
It is a growth engine for this business: Wipro Lighting recorded ₹1,000 crore (US$112.6 million) in revenue last year, and the ergonomics seating unit is also recording double-digit growth, which is why the concept of a smart, integrated workspace is in demand.
