WNS acquires Kipi.ai, boosts AI and analytics

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — WNS (Holdings) Limited, a global provider of digital-led business transformation services, has acquired Kipi.ai, a Houston-based company renowned for its innovative work in data modernization.

While specific financial terms of the deal were not announced, the merger promises to expand WNS’s capabilities in analytics and artificial intelligence, tapping into Kipi’s expertise on the Snowflake platform.

Strategic fit and future prospects

Kipi.ai, which started in 2021, is noted for its comprehensive approach across data engineering, analytics, and data science, primarily serving sectors like banking, insurance, and healthcare.

Kipi.ai brings to WNS over 600 global employees, including more than 450 data specialists. Their team boasts around 600 SnowPro certifications, making them one of the largest Snowflake talent hubs globally. The company has developed over 250 unique tools and solutions that utilize AI and advanced analytics to enhance business processes.

The integration of Kipi.ai with WNS is seen as an enhancement to WNS’s services that are already positioned across various industries.

“We believe that Kipi’s market-differentiated data modernization capabilities and talented team are an excellent fit for WNS. Together, we will leverage domain expertise and scalable AI solutions to drive decision intelligence and efficiencies, and to create new revenue streams,” said Keshav Murugesh, CEO of WNS.

Jason Small, Kipi’s Founder and CEO, highlighted the alignment between the two companies, “The strong cultural alignment and complementary service offerings between our two firms will unlock the full potential of AI and offer opportunities to grow and better serve our global clients.”

Financial outlook and global presence

The acquisition is expected to have a minimal impact on WNS’s financial performance in the near term, with Kipi projected to contribute about 2% to WNS’s overall revenue by fiscal 2026.

WNS, with headquarters in Mumbai, operates in 14 countries and employs over 63,390 professionals in 66 delivery centers worldwide. The company provides a wide range of industry-specific services, including customer management, finance and accounting, and analytics, to over 600 clients globally.

WNS ranked #22 in the newly launched OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
