Workplace wellness vital in job decision – report

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — A recent report from Mindspace, a global provider of boutique flexible workspaces, highlights the growing importance of workplace wellness programs for employees when choosing jobs.
The survey of over 1,500 office workers across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, and Israel found 90% consider well-being facilities and programs crucial when selecting an employer.
Thirty-six percent notably missed on-site health amenities while working remotely during the pandemic.
“With companies large and small gradually demanding their employees return to the office, now is the time for employers to rethink a future of work that incorporates flexible working options with regard to work hours and location, and that places more emphasis on benefits enhancing employee well-being,” said Dan Zakai, CEO and co-founder of Mindspace.
The report also found 82% expect employers to support work-life balance. Top well-being benefits included flexible hours, on-site amenities, additional time off, and comprehensive healthcare.
The Mindspace report underscores shifting workforce priorities, with clear emphasis on comprehensive well-being support and flexible working arrangements. As the work landscape evolves, employers are urged to adapt and prioritize the holistic well-being of their employees.
