ZIGExN buys Ultimate Resources Group for $3Mn to boost RPO services

TOKYO, JAPAN — ZIGExN Co., Ltd., a Japanese HR and life services platform provider, has announced that its consolidated subsidiary, Ties Co., Ltd., has acquired all shares of Ultimate Resources Group (URG), a Tokyo-based recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and job placement firm.
The acquisition, valued at JPY 419 million (US$ 2.9 million), took effect on May 22.
The deal aims to combine Ties’ job placement and recruitment outsourcing strengths with URG’s RPO expertise, enhancing ZIGExN’s comprehensive talent acquisition support for clients.
“Following the execution of this partnership, we will flexibly utilise the resources of the ZIGExN Group to promptly enhance URG’s personnel and expand its RPO customer base,” said Ties.
Synergies and market impact
“We aim to further expand URG’s job placement business by applying the business operation know-how, including the consultant hiring and development processes, cultivated by Ties,” Ties added.
“Additionally, we will promote the strengthening of Ties’ RPO functions to accelerate the company’s growth.”
ZIGExN’s move comes amid a growing HR outsourcing market in Japan and Asia. The company’s expanded portfolio is expected to generate synergies, enhance its competitive position, and create new growth opportunities in the region.
