$1Bn workplace services contracts set for renewal in 2023

CONNECTICUT, UNITED STATES — Global IT research firm ISG has reported that approximately $1 billion worth of workplace services contracts are up for renewal this year.
These contract renewals will focus on driving employee productivity, enhancing the end-user experience, and promoting internal collaboration.
ISG’s research reveals that companies are placing significant emphasis on planning for the future of their workplaces. Knowledge management tools, self-service portals, and mobile devices are among the key elements being prioritized in their workforce strategies.
Service providers must be prepared to deploy and support these technologies effectively.
As for remote working, ISG’s data revealed that most people are expected to continue working remotely or in a hybrid model by the end of the year. Technology will play a critical role in enabling this shift. Due to this, enterprises are projected to increasingly prioritize self-service tools to support their distributed and remote workforce.
“We expect CIOs (and increasingly HR leaders) to be developing plans to better support a remote workforce and push more of that support responsibility to users themselves. That means they will expect their providers to be able to deliver on these plans as well,” ISG added.
