24 Seven buys IT staffing firm SRI in its 14th acquisition

- 24 Seven announced its acquisition of SRI (Software Resources, Inc.) on Oct. 14.
- The deal is 24 Seven’s 14th acquisition to date.
- Tammy Giaimo founded SRI in 1992.
- SRI places IT, engineering, finance and accounting professionals, among others.
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — 24 Seven, a marketing, creative and digital talent solutions firm, has acquired SRI (Software Resources, Inc.), a staffing and recruiting firm specializing in IT and professional services.
The deal is 24 Seven’s 14th acquisition to date and reflects the continued expansion of its strategic capabilities, sharpening its focus on the IT space.
A 30-year boutique
CEO Tammy Giaimo founded SRI in 1992, 24 Seven said in an announcement on Oct. 14.
The firm has spent more than 30 years placing IT, engineering, creative, marketing, finance and accounting professionals with employers in entertainment and media, government, financial services and hospitality.
Giaimo co-leads SRI with her husband, SRI president John Giaimo.
The firm has built its reputation on a hands-on, relationship-driven approach to staffing.
Bench strength in IT
“Demand for specialized IT talent has only intensified as companies race to modernize their tech stacks and build out their capabilities, and SRI knows exactly how to find that expert consulting talent fast,” said Anthony Donnarumma, CEO of 24 Seven.
“Bringing SRI into our family of brands gives us real bench strength in one of the most competitive corners of the talent solutions industry,” he said.
More capacity, same approach
Tammy Giaimo described the deal as a natural next step for a firm that has spent decades building close, long-standing client relationships.
“For many years, SRI has continued to grow by staying close to our clients and consultants, and that isn’t changing,” she said.
“What’s changing is our capacity. Joining 24 Seven gives us access to a much larger network and a broader set of talent solutions, without losing the boutique feel that got us here,” she added.
“24 Seven gives us a global platform to work from, and we can’t wait to put those resources into action for the people who’ve trusted us for more than 30 years,” said John Giaimo.
A growing family of brands
24 Seven describes itself as one of the nation’s largest privately held marketing, creative and digital talent solutions firms.
SRI joins a portfolio that includes The Sage Group, SketchDeck, Simplicity Consulting, The Cydio Group, Marketers That Matter, CORE Resources, MTP, Futureman, Markacy and Crawford Group.
For companies hiring IT contractors, the deal places a boutique staffing agency inside a larger talent platform.
Buyers using recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) or contract staffing for technical roles can ask whether their account teams and consultant pools stay the same after the deal.
They can compare providers on the top BPO companies worldwide list.
