MANILA, PHILIPPINES — TP is hiring for more than 10,000 customer service jobs in the Philippines, ramping up recruitment for accounts that serve telecommunications, healthcare, financial services and travel clients.
The drive covers customer expert roles as well as other customer experience and business support positions across the company’s Mega Manila operations.
TP stages a Metro Manila grand job fair
The company scheduled a Metro Manila Grand Job Fair for Sept. 28 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati, where applicants could be interviewed and potentially receive job offers within the day, according to InsiderPH.
The openings include customer expert positions supporting global accounts in telecommunications, healthcare, travel and global distribution systems, financial services, retail, digital advertising, sales and search engine optimization.
The drive is open to experienced business process outsourcing (BPO) workers as well as fresh graduates, career shifters and first-time applicants without previous BPO experience.
Experienced workers can explore different accounts and career paths, while new entrants will have a chance to gain experience serving global customers, TP said, and applicants were asked to bring a valid ID, an updated résumé and an internet-connected device for creating applicant profiles.
The job fair is a major component of TP‘s “Hello” recruitment campaign, and the company said additional job fairs outside Metro Manila are expected to be announced.
TP counts 60,000 staff across the Philippines
The company has operated in the Philippines for 30 years and now employs about 60,000 people nationwide.
Its Mega Manila sites span Alabang, Antipolo, Molino, Makati, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, Taguig, Pasay, Pasig and Parañaque, while regional information technology hubs operate in Cebu, Bacolod, Baguio, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Laoag and General Santos.
TP said the range of openings reflects the different global businesses and customer programs handled by its Mega Manila operations, and the company recently received its ninth consecutive Great Place to Work certification.
For buyers sourcing customer service capacity in the Philippines, a 10,000-role hiring push from an employer of about 60,000 people points to continued demand across telecommunications, healthcare and financial services accounts.
Buyers comparing the top 40 BPO companies in the Philippines can ask how quickly new hires, including first-time BPO workers, reach full productivity on their accounts, and how a provider staffs up when a single campaign targets 10,000 roles.
