Med Tech Solutions folds Stoltenberg and Avarion into MTS brand

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Healthcare IT managed services provider Med Tech Solutions (MTS) is retiring the Stoltenberg Consulting and Avarion brands, moving both acquired businesses fully under its own name.
The rebrand brings the company’s growing acute care capabilities together under a single brand for hospitals and health systems.
Two acquired brands retired
MTS, which acquired Stoltenberg in 2024, detailed the change in an announcement on Oct. 13.
Stoltenberg has decades of experience serving hospitals and health systems and holds three Best in KLAS rankings for Partial IT Outsourcing.
Avarion, formerly Huntzinger Management Group, joined MTS more recently and has twice been named Best in KLAS for HIT Advisory.
Stoltenberg brings electronic health record (EHR) consulting, service desk, staffing, go-live support and legacy support.
Avarion adds strategic consulting, optimization and change management services.
“Stoltenberg and Avarion have brought exceptional acute care experience, talent, and relationships to MTS,” said Mona Abutaleb, chief executive officer of Med Tech Solutions.
One partner, a wider portfolio
Those services sit alongside MTS’ IT and EHR managed services, enterprise cloud hosting, cybersecurity, integration, revenue cycle management and data archiving.
For Stoltenberg clients, the change builds on an integration that has been underway for several years.
They keep access to the healthcare IT expertise and professionals they know, while gaining MTS’ wider resources, the company said.
Avarion’s transition follows the same approach, pairing specialized acute care expertise with the scale of the larger firm.
Abutaleb said being part of MTS gives those teams and their clients access to deeper resources and an organization built exclusively around healthcare.
“Bringing Stoltenberg and Avarion fully under the MTS brand gives our clients a clearer, simpler way to access the capabilities we have built across the organization,” Abutaleb said.
The company called the transition the culmination of a broader strategy to build a comprehensive healthcare technology partner serving organizations across the continuum of care.
MTS said the unified organization combines acute care expertise with its broader healthcare technology services to help providers optimize operations, improve technology performance and reduce IT burden.
For hospitals, the rebrand means IT managed services, EHR support and advisory work now come from one provider rather than three brands.
