WISCONSIN, UNITED STATES — ManpowerGroup’s board has elected President and Chief Strategy Officer Becky Frankiewicz as chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2027.
She succeeds Jonas Prising, who has led the workforce solutions company since 2014 and will become executive chair of the board.
AI strategy at the center of the handoff
Frankiewicz will also join the board and become the fifth CEO in the company’s almost 80-year history, ManpowerGroup said in an Oct. 15 announcement.
The company said the move reflects the board’s long-term succession planning.
As president and chief strategy officer, Frankiewicz has led commercial strategy, driving the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and agentic AI across the organization.
That work spans the company’s global brands: Manpower, Experis and Talent Solutions.
“As we enter our next chapter, we have a significant opportunity to accelerate our strategy, expand our AI capabilities, and deliver greater value through our ‘Human First, Digital Always’ approach,” Frankiewicz said.
A 12-year run under Prising
Julie Howard, lead director of the board, said that under Prising the company strengthened its brands and expanded higher-value talent and workforce management capabilities.
She added that he built a business that is more digital, diversified and resilient.
Frankiewicz joined ManpowerGroup in July 2017 as president of North America, after leading Quaker Foods North America, one of PepsiCo’s largest subsidiaries.
She was elevated to president and chief strategy officer in June 2025 from chief commercial officer and president of ManpowerGroup North America.
She has served on the board of Energizer Holdings since January 2020.
“Becky and I have worked closely together on ManpowerGroup’s ongoing transformation, and I’ve seen firsthand the exceptional leadership, strategic perspective and deep commitment she brings to the Company,” said Prising.
The succession hands the top job to the executive who has run ManpowerGroup’s AI integration, a signal that agentic AI will shape how the company serves clients across more than 70 countries and territories.
For the workforce solutions sector, the change puts AI-driven talent services at the top of the agenda. Buyers that use a staffing agency or recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider can ask how AI tools will change sourcing, assessment and account service, and compare providers on the top BPO companies worldwide list.
Frankiewicz takes over on Jan. 1, with Prising staying on as executive chair to support what he called a seamless transition.
