BENGALURU, INDIA — NLB Services has named Dr Varun Sachdeva chief executive officer of its India business, effective October 2026.
He steps up from APAC head, a role in which he oversaw business development, sales and delivery operations for the global workforce solutions and technology services company.
His new remit spans recruitment process outsourcing, staffing, global capability centers and managed services.
From APAC head to India CEO
In the new role, Sachdeva will focus on business growth and on broadening service capabilities for clients, according to People Matters.
He joined NLB Services in 2019 and served as APAC head before taking up the India leadership position.
During that time, he has led teams across India and the U.S., developed digital RPO and human resources outsourcing (HRO) services, and expanded recruitment capabilities across sectors.
Two decades in recruitment
Sachdeva has more than 20 years of experience across talent acquisition, staffing, recruitment operations, business development and outsourcing services.
Before NLB Services, he was business leader for talent acquisition, staffing, recruitment and HRO services at Reqroute, Inc.
At Randstad India, he served as senior vice president and country head for RPO and managed service provider (MSP) operations.
Earlier, he was associate vice president for global talent acquisition at Accenture, handling global recruitment and outsourcing operations.
His earlier roles also include vice president for talent acquisition at TSI and deputy general manager for talent acquisition at Amtex Systems.
Building on the GCC push
The GCC focus builds on a business NLB Services launched in August 2025, when it moved into GCC-as-a-Service and appointed Abhilash Raghavan as chief business officer.
The company said then that its services for GCCs in India and other markets would span infrastructure setup, workforce solutions, compliance support and marketing solutions.
Sachdeva, then senior vice president and APAC head, said at the time: “India continues to be at the forefront of major GCC expansions globally.”
What buyers should weigh
For companies that use NLB Services for recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) or staffing in India, the change puts an executive who has been with the company since 2019 in charge of the country business.
Enterprises planning a global capability center (GCC) can ask providers how setup, hiring and compliance support are divided, and compare options on the top BPO companies worldwide list.
