TEXAS, UNITED STATES — Ethos Support, a global customer experience and outsourcing provider, has named co-founder Anne Kirby as its chief executive officer.
Kirby helped establish the company in 2022 as co-founder and chief operating officer, ahead of its official launch in 2023. With more than 20 years of industry experience, she champions the belief that customer experience and employee experience go hand in hand.
From operations to the top job
Ethos Support announced the appointment in a press release on Oct. 19. Kirby has played a central role in building the company’s operations, service capabilities, leadership team and client relationships, it said.
She has been recognized by CX Network and Onalytica for her industry influence, according to the release.
Under her leadership as chief operating officer, Ethos Support grew from a startup to a global team of more than 200 professionals.
It also established two physical office locations in the Philippines and expanded its customer support, technical support, trust and safety, and back-office capabilities.
The company recently achieved SOC 2 Type II certification, which it said reinforces its commitment to security, operational excellence and accountability.
“What makes Ethos Support special has never been just the services we provide. It’s our people, our clients, the relationships we build, and the genuine care we bring to everything we do,” said Kirby.
A boutique pitch to clients
Ethos Support describes itself as combining professional outsourcing capabilities with the flexibility and personalized attention of a boutique provider.
Maison Berger USA has partnered with Ethos Support since early 2024.
“We’re in different time zones, but you’d never know it,” said Mayumi Ando, director of e-commerce and creative strategy at Maison Berger USA.
“Anne has a rare gift for leading with deep empathy while keeping our team entirely focused on our ultimate goals,” said Jon Mendoza, senior manager of operations at Ethos Support.
Kirby said her commitment is to keep growing the company in a way that stays true to who the company is.
“We don’t aspire to be the biggest outsourcing company,” Kirby said. “Growth matters, but how we grow matters just as much.”
What it means for buyers
Kirby’s appointment puts the executive who built Ethos Support’s delivery operations and Philippine offices in charge of its next phase of growth.
