VANCOUVER, CANADA — Asiatel Outsourcing has named leaders for four growth areas: specialist services, AI software sales to clients, AI inside its own operations and direct sales in Canada.
The Philippine-founded outsourcer also named a head for its cybersecurity practice, bringing the appointments to five.
Senior team now in place
The company said the senior leadership team responsible for its growth plan is now fully in place, in an announcement on Oct. 27.
Asiatel runs customer support, accounting, sales support and IT help desk work in Manila with more than 500 staff. It expects revenue of about C$10.8 million in 2026, up from C$8.3 million in 2025.
Specialist teams
Miguel Enriquez joins as executive vice president, Asiatel KPO (Expertise), from Enshored. As country head there, he played a major role in growing the operation from 50 to 2,500 full-time staff over seven years.
He will build Asiatel KPO, which provides skilled professionals such as engineers, cybersecurity analysts and finance specialists for judgment-based work. Asiatel expects that work to earn higher margins than its core operations.
AI for banks, and inside Asiatel
PJ De Mesa, vice president, Asiatel Digital & AI, leads the company’s AI and technology business, including its partnership with document intelligence platform fileAI.
Since the practice launched in June 2026, Asiatel has initiated engagements with more than 15 Philippine banks, lenders and financial institutions.
JT Antolin, assistant vice president, AI Transformation and Solutions, leads AI use across Asiatel’s own operations. Asiatel is piloting its agentic AI CX tool internally before offering it to clients.
Canada and cybersecurity
Enida Caku, Canadian account executive, leads direct sales and business development in Canada.
Joe Zorene De Guzman, assistant vice president, cybersecurity, leads the practice building a managed security operations center (SOC) as a service offering.
“Our plan is to expand our service offerings with existing clients, while growing in new markets such as Canada, using specialist teams and marketing and implementing AI applications,” said Jasjit Singh Anand, chief executive officer of Asiatel.
“Each of these key growth areas within the business are now ready to launch, and investors will be able to track their progress in our quarterly results,” he said.
What it means for buyers
For companies using Asiatel for support or back-office work, the appointments point to a push to sell knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) and artificial intelligence (AI) services into existing accounts.
Buyers comparing Philippine providers can start with the top 40 BPO companies in the Philippines list.
