BPOITES online hiring up 19% in December: Monster
Online hiring in the BPO/ITES sector grew 19% in December from 17% in November, according to job search portal Monster.com. Overall, online hiring in the Philippines grew an average of 14.67% from October to December, outpacing the third quarter.
Online recruitment was the highest in the IT sector, which posted a growth of 28% in December, its highest monthly rise last year. For the entire fourth quarter, the IT sector’s online hiring grew by 9%. In terms of specific occupations, online hiring for Human Resources and Admin professionals remained robust with a 36% year-on-year increase for October.
