Building occupied by BPO firms shut down

Six/NEO, a Manila building occupied by business process outsourcing (BPO) companies and other multinational firms, was shut down over the weekend after one employee in the building tested positive for the coronavirus, Covid-19.
The patient is an employee of Deloitte, one of the occupants of the building. Building administrators said Six/NEO was shut down for thorough disinfection. It was reopened the following day. Six/NEO houses offices for multinational companies and business process outsourcing firms like Coca-Cola Philippines, PhilAm Life, and FMC Corp.
The IT-BPO Association of the Philippines earlier said it relies on its members to ensure that the coronavirus does not spread in the work area, with work-from-home options left to each company’s discretion.
