More than 14,000 employees in Clark return back to work

A total of 14,459 returning workers from various sectors and industries in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga was recorded by the Clark Development Corporation (CDC)-Business Development and Enhancement Group, as operations start to return to full capacity.
A 70 per cent increase of employees that have reported back to work in the information/communication technology (ICT)/business process outsourcing (BPO) industry, while there has been a recorded 74 per cent increase in the manufacturing/supply chain and logistics sector.
Companies which resumed their operations were required to strictly observe and follow health standards to ensure the safety and well-being of employees as they adapt to the “new normal” in their respective workplaces. CDC’s locators were allowed to have an initial 30-percent operational capacity, which may be increased upon evaluation.
