BPO firm shuts down office as two employees test positive for COVID-19

A business process outsourcing (BPO) firm temporarily shut down one of its four offices in SM City Clark, Pampanga, after two of its employees tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement issued by IQor Philippines, the call center company has already conducted contact tracing to identify the patients’ close contacts. They have also conducted sanitation and disinfection in their affected site and company’s service vehicles to protect other employees.
“We continue to enforce our established pandemic protocols in our facilities, which are aligned with standards communicated by DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment), DOH (Department of Health), CDC (Clark Development Corporation), Peza (Philippine Economic Zone Authority), IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force), DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) and other regulatory bodies including the City of Angeles,” iQor stated.
