Ateneo de Manila, BagoSphere inks deal on training Filipino youth

To bring hope to disadvantaged Filipino youth, Ateneo de Manila University, through Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED), and BagoSphere have finalized a partnership to train and equip them for future work.
The program is directed at building their confidence, enhancing their social skills, and making them competent and job-ready with English, interview, call center, and human skills.
“Just as the recent Community Pantry phenomenon showed that many of our countrymen were just waiting for a venue where they can help fellow Filipinos deal with hunger, ACED and BagoSphere looks forward to a similar trend where those who are disadvantaged can be helped to access opportunities to a better future through capability-building preparation towards employment in the BPO industry,” said ACED Director Carmela Oracion.
The partnership is funded by scholarships and will be open to the public once more classes are available.
