US BPO firm expands operations to the Dominican Republic
GlowTouch LLC, a US-based Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, has extended its operations into the Dominican Republic to develop its presence in the Latin American region.
The move broadens the firm’s geographic offerings and provides more options to its clients for multilingual and multichannel customer care, technical support, and sales services.
Vidya Ravichandran, GlowTouch’s President and Founder, said in a statement that “We are excited to plant roots in the Dominican Republic and to usher in the next wave of growth for the company.”
“The nearshore environment is a key element within our industry. Clients see the Caribbean and Latin America as a business-friendly region that is easily accessible and provides a labor force that has a great affinity for American culture,” she added.
The Dominican Republic’s location makes it easily accessible from the U.S. The new expansion currently employs 160 individuals. The workforce is predicted to increase to over 300 staff within 2022.
