Netflix to require vaccinations on US productions
Netflix will implement a policy requiring vaccinations for all casts of its productions in the US including those who come into contact with them on set, according to a report from Deadline.
The global streaming platform will be mandating vaccinations for everyone working in “Zone A,” which consists of the actors and their close contacts.
This decision is made into action due to the fourth wave of COVID-19 in the US by the highly contagious Delta variant. This new surge in infections brought health and safety measures on set back to the spotlight.
There have been further calls to Netflix to extend the vaccination requirement beyond Zone A.
