Employees are quitting due to employers revoking remote work – FlexJobs

Around 29% of employees are actively looking for remote jobs, while 17% have quit their previous employment because of the lack of remote work options, according to the latest survey conducted by remote work online platform FlexJobs.
The newly-released survey, with over 4,600 respondents, emphasizes the value employees place on remote work, mental health support, and company culture.
Meanwhile, 44% of respondents said that they know at least one person who has quit or is planning to quit because their employers are requiring them to return to their offices.
FlexJobs Founder and CEO Sara Sutton said that workers today are more confident “to leave job situations that aren’t ideal, or leave companies that aren’t allowing them to work the way they want to.”
The survey also reported that 58% of people prefer a full-time remote job post-pandemic, while 39% are interested in a hybrid work model and only 3% want to return to the office full-time.
