BPO Partylist to join national elections

Cebu-born partylist Bangon Philippine Outsourcing (BPO Partylist) will join the upcoming elections and will be represented by industry leader and technopreneur Mike Cubos.
The province’s Rep. Vincent Franco “Duke” Frasco showed his support for the party as he met Cubos and the rest of the Business Process Management (BPM) firm to “discuss ways in which Congress and the National Government can help our thriving BPM sector in Cebu and the Philippines.”
During a dialogue with stakeholders, Frasco stated that “it’s about time the BPM sector is given representation and given a voice in Congress” given the industry’s size and its impact on the country’s economy.
The partylist’s programs include access to free call center training prioritizing solo parents, displaced workers, and job seekers to each local government unit, free internet in urban areas, and more information technology, call center and online freelancing jobs.
BPO Partylist also vows to promote homegrown BPM entrepreneurship and incubation, countryside development, and push for innovation and digital cities.
The BPO Partylist is the sector’s first representative group that will run for Congress.
