4 of 5 fully-vaxxed Filipinos inclined to take booster shots — SWS

Four out of five (80%) vaccinated Filipinos are willing to get a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
In a report, SWS said that among these individuals, 73% are sure to get a booster shot while seven per cent stated that they will “probably” entertain the idea.
The nationwide survey, conducted from December 12 to 16 with 1,440 respondents, also found that 13% are still undecided and seven per cent are unwilling to take their third dose of vaccine.
SWS also stated that the willingness of locals is high in all areas across the Philippines.
Among vaccinated adults, 82% of Luzon citizens are willing to get a booster dose, followed by 81% in Metro Manila, 79% in the Visayas, and 78% in Mindanao.
Further, the survey showed that the percentage of willing individuals rises with age as 84% of the above 55-year old age groups and 81% of 45 to 55-year-olds eager to complete their vaccine doses
