Restaurant outsourcing startup Bite Ninja raises $11.3M

Memphis-based cloud labor provider Bite Ninja recently announced that had raised $11.3 million in bridge funding bringing its total loan up to $15.4 million
According to report the bridge funding was backed by Manta Ray Ventures, Owl Ventures, Agfunder, Pioneer Fund and TRAC Unicorn fund.
Bite Ninja provides remote labor for restaurants including mobile order taking, drive-thru services as well as front-of-house roles.
The company’s services allow restaurant operators to redeploy labor to focus on tasks like cooking, per the spokesperson.
Amid labor shortages and resignation rates, drives tech companies to develop supplemental labor solutions for restaurants. These solutions go beyond outsourcing tasks — some firms have focused on automating managerial tasks or phone ordering, while others are deploying kitchen robotics.
