Amid eased pandemic restrictions Infosys welcome back 45,000 employees

After pandemic restrictions were eased in India, multinational IT firm Infosys said it welcomed 45,000 employees back in the office.
The COVID-19 trend began to decline in 2022 and offices are getting back on track with employees gradually back on site leading to large deal wins and steady all-around growth in Q2 reflecting deep relevance and differentiation of digital and cloud solutions in business transformation for Infosys.
“While concerns around the economic outlook persist, our demand pipeline is strong as clients remain confident in our ability to deliver the value they seek, both on the growth and efficiency of their businesses. This is reflected in our revised revenue guidance of 15%-16% for FY23,” Infosys CEO Salil Parekh mentioned.
Further, as the company grows and employees return to office, attrition rate declined sharply to 27.1% against 28.4% in Q1FY23 and 20.1% in Q2FY22 signaling a good company performance for the year.
