PH provides the most remote work opportunities in APAC — Hire Digital
The Philippines produces the most remote work opportunities out of all Asia Pacific (APAC) countries, said digital marketing firm Hire Digital.
According to Hire Digital’s latest study, 61% of remote job openings across job sites LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed are based in the Southeast Asian nation.
At the same time, the Philippines, along with Australia, Thailand, and Indonesia, are the most well-adapted APAC countries when it comes to the hybrid and remote work setup.
The study also revealed that there are abundant opportunities for entry-level applicants in APAC. Over a third of digital vacancies observed in the region were related to software engineering, and 46% of the job opportunities in this field are entry-level roles.
A high percentage of digital creatives/design opportunities are entry-level positions as well, accounting for 37% of the job opportunities.
Meanwhile, nearly half of the job opportunities in the marketing and product/project management industries are open for mid-level and high-level professionals.
