New VA firm to create more jobs in Iloilo township

The launch of non-voice firm Bingawan Real Estate Virtual Assistants (BREVA) is expected to create more employment opportunities and help revive the economy of the municipality of Bingawan, Iloilo.
According to Mayor Mark Palabrica, the program was pioneered by the local government through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in partnership with the Bingawan Pagnahi-an Women & Youth Organization, Inc.
The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) also helped by providing the facilities and a private telecommunications firm supplied the needed internet connection.
While many locals have already undergone the training offered by the local government unit (LGU), DICT, and other outsourcing experts, Palabrica is still encouraging more people to send in their applications.
“In terms of manpower, we really encourage Bingawan residents to apply,” he stated.
The town mayor added that they would also be open to applicants from other towns if the firm needs more people.
BREVA is a non-voice firm serving four United States-based realtors, particularly from Maryland, California, and Florida.
