Osigu to enter Colombian market through Servinte acquisition

MIAMI, UNITED STATES — Miami-based Osigu is set to enter the Colombian healthcare market following its agreement with Carvajal Group to acquire Servinte.
Servinte, Colombia’s largest Electronic Health Record (EHR) and healthcare software provider, is a subsidiary of Carvajal Group.
“There is clear potential for growth and collaboration, and it was a natural fit for both companies and teams. We are committed to providing the best solutions to our clients and stakeholders,” stated Osigu Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder Fernando Botrán.
Servinte has been providing technology solutions to the healthcare industry in Colombia for 30 years. It supports over 50 hospital systems through clinical, administrative, and financial operations.
Osigu aims to improve Servinte’s features by integrating top-of-the-line technologies, offering comprehensive and real-time revenue cycles, claims processing, and healthcare payments.
“We are impressed with Osigu’s technology, team, and vision, and we believe they are the right partner to take Servinte to the next level,” said Carvajal Group CEO Pedro Felipe Carvajal.
Osigu provides solutions in the healthcare and insurance ecosystem through digitalizing and automating claims processes and payments between payers and health providers in Latin America. This allows for efficiency and fraud prevention for payers and liquidity for health providers.
