SAP partners with Microsoft AI services

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) provider SAP is collaborating with Microsoft’s AI Copilot and Azure OpenAI Service to enhance talent management capabilities for its customers.
The integration aims to leverage generative AI to revolutionize the hiring and upskilling processes within SAP’s SuccessFactors suite.
By incorporating Microsoft’s AI Copilot and Azure OpenAI Service, SAP aims to automate manual tasks such as creating job descriptions and delivering relevant skill development programs to employees.
Through natural language prompts, teams can generate targeted and market-relevant job descriptions using the OpenAI service API, while Microsoft 365 integration will allow for fine-tuning and publishing within Word.
Additionally, the integration will provide interviewers in Microsoft Teams with AI-powered prompts, suggesting interview questions based on candidate resumes, job descriptions, and similar roles.
SAP SuccessFactors will also integrate with Microsoft Viva Learning, enabling personalized learning recommendations based on career goals and aligning with courses available in SAP SuccessFactors.
SAP’s collaboration with Microsoft follows a trend of major companies adopting generative AI to address diverse business challenges.
“SAP has long embedded AI into our solutions, and we’re very excited about the opportunities generative AI unfolds for our industry and our customers,” said SAP CEO and Executive Board Member Christian Klein.
Klein added that this announcement is an example of how SAP would bring AI to their business.
