Clark poised as next Philippine BPO epicenter

PAMPANGA, PHILIPPINES — Clark Freeport Zone is gaining traction as a prime Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) hub, said Profitmaster BPO President Richard Croaker.
During a conference with Australian business leaders in the Philippines, Croaker emphasized Clark’s talent pool and the benefits of its effective offshore teams for foreign clients.
He also noted the Philippines’ rising stature as a BPO center for the Australian service sector.
Data from Clark Development Corp. (CDC) revealed that over 30 Australian firms have established operations in Clark as of January 2023. More outsourcing firms are expected to establish their offices in Clark, Pampanga, as it secured 12% of the total BPO office transactions last year.
Just last month, the Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) greenlighted a US$14.8 million IT-BPM project by IT firm Asurion in the province.
Given its robust infrastructure and talent, Clark is on track to solidify its position as a key BPO destination in the Philippines.
