Partners Personnel acquires industrial staffing firm

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — In a move to expand its footprint in the staffing industry, Partners Personnel has acquired Chartwell Staffing Solutions.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The deal brings together two major industrial staffing firms in the United States, with the goal of creating a stronger combined platform.
Partners Personnel ranked #12 and Chartwell ranked #22 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) 2022 list of the largest U.S. industrial staffing firms.
“We welcome the Chartwell team wholeheartedly into the Partners Personnel family,” Partners Personnel CEO Paul Sorensen said. “This strategic move aligns with our growth strategy and reaffirms our commitment to create a world-class staffing platform.”
Founded in 2017 and based in Santa Barbara, California, Partners Personnel focuses on staffing for logistics, manufacturing, engineering, and other industrial sectors. It has over 100 offices in the U.S. and generated $427 million in revenue in 2020.
Chartwell Staffing Solutions, founded in 2011, is one of the largest woman-owned staffing firms and the biggest agency in Pennsylvania. With estimated annual revenue of $84 million, it has a strong reputation for matching businesses with skilled talent. Chartwell operates in over 40 locations nationwide.
“Joining forces with Partners Personnel is a remarkable opportunity,” Chartwell COO Jack Madden said. “We believe that this partnership will allow us to expand our capabilities and serve our clients and employees with even greater capabilities.”
The deal closed earlier this summer. Chartwell was acquired from Staffinvest LLC.
