Niki Hall rejoins Five9 as chief marketing officer

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Cloud contact center software provider Five9 has welcomed back Niki Hall as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Hall has over 25 years of experience in technology marketing, including nearly two years as VP of Marketing at Five9 from 2017-2019. She joins Five9 from Contentsquare, where she served as CMO since 2021.
Hall will be responsible for leading Five9’s global marketing strategy with a focus on driving continued growth.
In the newly created CMO role, Hall will oversee Five9’s marketing organization and go-to-market strategy. Key priorities include increasing brand awareness, generating pipeline growth, and elevating Five9’s position as an industry leader in the contact center market.
Five9 CEO Mike Burkland says Hall’s appointment comes as the company continues to expand globally.
“Her leadership will help fuel our trajectory as we continue to extend our leadership in CCaaS and CX,” Burkland said.
Founded in 2001 and headquartered in San Ramon, California, Five9 provides a cloud contact center platform powered by artificial intelligence. The company went public in 2014 and now has a market cap of $4.3 billion.
Five9’s revenue grew 28% year-over-year to $779 million in 2022. The company serves over 2,500 customers globally and facilitates more than 6 billion customer interactions annually.
With cloud-based contact centers expected to power the expansion of the global contact center market by $161.73 billion by 2027, Five9 aims to capitalize on strong demand with Hall’s leadership. Her experience driving growth for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies positions Five9 to expand its market share in the coming years.
