Sigma Connected boosts insurance expertise with new director appointment

BIRMINGHAM, UNITED KINGDOM — Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider Sigma Connected has announced the appointment of Susan Young as the Director of Insurance Services. 

This move signals the company’s strategic efforts to deepen its presence in the insurance sector.

Susan Young steps into this role with an impressive track record, bringing over 28 years of experience from Gallagher Insurance, including a significant tenure at Giles Insurance before its acquisition by Gallagher. 

Her deep industry knowledge and leadership roles in one of the United Kingdom’s leading personal lines and private client brokerages position her as a valuable asset to Sigma Connected.

Ben Jones, Sigma Connected Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the importance of having seasoned professionals navigate the intricacies of highly regulated sectors like insurance. 

“Susan knows the sector insider out and has successfully steered one of the largest personal lines and private client brokerages in the UK. That will add immense value to our offering in the months and years ahead as we expand into the industry which, like others we operate in, is highly regulated,” Jones said.

Young’s immediate focus will be leveraging her expertise to foster business relations, scout new opportunities, and guide the integration of new clients into the Sigma Connected fold. 

“This is an exciting opportunity to bring my skills to Sigma Connected and the wider BPO industry,” Young added.

Sigma Connected’s revenue range is estimated to be between $10 million and $50 million, according to Crunchbase.
