Accenture acquires cloud consultancy Ocelot

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Accenture has announced its acquisition of Ocelot Consulting, a cloud consultancy specializing in full-stack development, data engineering, data science, and cloud modernization strategies.
This strategic move expands Accenture’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) engineering skills in the Midwest, propelling cloud transformation efforts in North America.
Known for its proficiency in migrating enterprise applications and data, Ocelot Consulting enhances Accenture’s cloud capabilities.
“Cloud is the place where most technology innovation is happening, and this acquisition is all about expanding our cloud engineering skills to help clients modernize their enterprise and accelerate business growth and innovation,” said Andy Tay, global lead of Accenture Cloud First.
This acquisition combines Ocelot’s experience across industries like utilities, financial services, agriculture, and consumer goods with Accenture’s robust cloud engineering practice.
