ibex appoints healthcare sales veteran as SVP

WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES – Business process outsourcing (BPO) firm ibex has appointed healthcare sales veteran Jason Lockbaum as its Senior Vice President, Healthcare Sales.
Lockbaum joins ibex carrying over 24 years of experience in the healthcare market selling customer experience (CX), digital, and back-office solutions.
Before ibex, Lockbaum spent 15 years at BPO firms Sitel and Teleperformance, where he liaised with life science and medical device stakeholders worldwide.
ibex Global Head of Sales Mike Hallowell welcomed Lockbaum, noting that his appointment is a response to the tech revolution within the healthcare industry.
“New AI-powered technologies and services offer game-changing opportunities to better manage costs, improve access, and elevate the overall patient experience,” Halowell said. “ibex is seamlessly integrating cutting-edge AI-enabled technologies with world-class contact center services to help redefine the way healthcare is delivered in the future for the benefit of providers and patients alike.”
This is the latest development with regard to ibex’s initiatives in the healthcare industry. In September, it secured a $55 million Series C financing round led by 83North, which it aims to use to revolutionize cancer diagnostics with artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions.
Additional participants in the funding round include Sienna Venture Capital and existing ibex investors, including Octopus Ventures, aMoon, Planven Entrepreneur Ventures, and Dell Technologies Capital.
